The tsuba, kashira, and fuchi are made from alloy, while the saya is constructed from genuine hard wood with lacquer, and the tsuka (handle) is made from ray skin (samegawa) and wrapped with synthetic cord rope. The habaki and seppa are made from yellow pure copper.
• 【PRODUCTION PROCESS】This sword is meticulously crafted using traditional methods. The blade is forged and polished repeatedly, folded over 10 times to enhance flexibility and hardness. All steps, including material selection, forging, quenching, polishing, grinding, and final assembly, are completed by hand. The handle and blade are secured by two bamboo nails, ensuring the blade will not detach from the handle under any circumstances.
